Introduction

Hello everyone, and welcome to Matt's Sports News Blog!  I'm Matt DeFonzo, and over the next few months, I'll be following ESPN's website and blogging about its multimedia techniques and its journalism.

I'm looking at ESPN's website because I'm a huge sports fan, and espn.com is really the only sports website I check.  Over the Holiday break, I looked at its main headlines pretty regularly, and visited the ESPN Boston and ESPN New York sites fairly often too.

Okay, that's the (extraordinarily brief) introduction to my blog.  Let's hope this blog is a successful one!
